Where Emeran began.
And where we still live.
Before the software, there was the field. We design, consult on, and build electrification projects — and that real-world work shapes every line of code we write.
Our practice
Engineering judgment at every phase — from the drawing board into the running project.
We don’t build the lines ourselves — that’s your contractor’s job. What we do is the engineering brain around the project: feasibility, design, advisory, and helping your team adopt InfraPro so the day-to-day actually runs cleanly.
Our engineers spend real time on real sites — just not as the builders. We’re the design authority, the advisory you call when a decision matters, and the agent who sits with your project manager for the first phase until they’re fluent in the system.
What we do
Three threads of engineering work.
Designs
Engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, load studies, and compliance documentation — built to the standards of the utility you're interconnecting with.
Consulting
Feasibility studies, project scoping, and technical advisory for utilities, developers, and commercial operators evaluating electrification investments.
Project Onboarding
Engineer-led support for InfraPro adoption. We assign a support engineer who has run electrification projects — not a generic helpdesk — to guide your team through the system. Optional, step-down whenever ready.
Where we work
Kenya — and wherever the project takes us.
Our base is Nairobi. Our engineers have worked across multiple African countries on electrification projects of varying scale. That exposure is why SmartHR exists — we built the statutory compliance we needed, then productised it.
If your project is outside Kenya and you need partners who understand cross-border utility, statutory, and logistical realities — talk to us.
The software underneath
The same engineering practice — runs on InfraPro.
The platform we built to run our own electrification work. Now used by infrastructure contractors across thirteen African countries.
